In an effort to strengthen the federal government’s disaster preparedness and response, AmeriCorps NCCC and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) partnered to create FEMA Corps. This unique program unites individuals who share a passion for service and provides the ultimate professional development experience. Get the experience of an internship with twice the adventure & impact.

Find out how you can make a difference and help people recover from disaster by joining FEMA Corps. Learn professionals skills, travel, work on team, and make a difference in the lives of those affected by disaster. FEMA Corps members serve full-time for a 10-month term and are assigned to projects across the country. FEMA Corps is a partnership between The Corporation for National and Community Service’s AmeriCorps program and FEMA.
